T. S. ALLAN
I strive to write stories that matter—stories of the past that raise issues which still are relevant today, and show readers the value of trust, cooperation, and love. Reading my stories might help you consider different perspectives before making decisions or taking action. I hope the stories will make you laugh, cry, learn, and possibly be inspired.
The inspiration for my stories comes from three primary sources. First, and most important, is what my late Danish wife taught me about the importance of living a Life of Hygge. Second, is my experience as a Marine in the Vietnam War, and my diverse work on four continents trying cases, negotiating agreements, instructing classes, developing and operating safe sports venues and events, managing development projects, and authoring a book on international legal practice. Third, are the values my parents taught me, which include being tolerant and respectful of persons with different cultures, races, or religions. Those global experiences and values have given me a unique perspective of the similarity and diversity of human behavior and motivation. I draw on that perspective to write stories you will enjoy.
